Privacy

NameVibe has no accounts, no logins and no database of visitors.

What is stored in your browser

To keep your work between visits, the site saves these in your browser's localStorage on this device only: your shortlist and ratings, surname and siblings' names, factor weights, saved middle names and twin pairs, and any family polls and the votes you receive. It never leaves your device unless you share a link yourself.

AI features

When you press an AI button (decision memo, meaning lookup, name ideas), the names and optional notes you typed are sent to our server and passed to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to write the answer. We don't store these requests. Nothing is sent to the AI until you press one of those buttons.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not track you across sites.

Share links

Shortlist and poll links contain the names in the web address itself. Anyone you send a link to can see those names.
